Consultations

All appointments are currently Telehealth videocall.

We do not treat children aged 16 years or younger.

All clients require a referral prior to booking an appointment.

The referral should contain:
Your name
Date of birth
Address
Diagnosis
List of any current medications
AND

The number of sessions you are being referred for

Fees:

Initial sessions cost $245 for 55 minutes.
Subsequent appointments cost $140 for 35 minutes.
Appointments that run under 30 minutes cost $50 to cover administrative costs*

These fees are still considerably lower than the APS recommended hourly fee of $267

*Please note that 15 minute consultations are not eligible for Medicare rebates.

Medicare and Other Rebate Schedules

Medicare

On first of November, 2006, the Australian Government introduced new Medicare items for psychological treatment by registered psychologists. This service provides considerable assistance to people living with mental health problems, allowing them greater access to psychologists and providing more affordable mental health care.

Under the Medicare scheme, clients with a relevant psychological problem and an appropriate Medicare referral from a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician will be eligible for up to 10 visits per year.

Chronic Disease Management Plans are also accepted for a further 5 visits with a lower rebate amount.

NDIS

We accept payment from NDIS funds and can bill directly to your provider. Please contact reception for any enquiries if you have NDIS support.

Private Health Insurance

If you exceed your maximum number of sessions under the Medicare, you many need to use private health insurance to provide a rebate. Please contact your health fund to see if you are covered for psychology sessions.

Reception can provide invoices to suit health fund claims.
